Project Details

Ovid Technologies is on the cutting edge of the information retrieval industry by providing powerful, high-end information solutions for researchers and professionals in academic, corporate, and medical settings. The expanded Salt Lake City Operations Center, located in the newly constructed Jordan Commons Office Tower, employs over 140 peoplein operations, technology, and accounting fields.

A 1250 lb. Panel with High Pressure Laminate Static Control Surface and a Bolted Stringer Understructure were installed in the 3,500 square foot Computer Room. A 12” Finished Floor Height ensures adequate space in the under floor plenum for cable management and an FM200 Fire Suppression System.

Temperatures through out the building are controlled by an Under Floor HVAC System. Air conditioning of the work space is controlled by Perforated Floor Panels which are strategically placed through out the Computer Room and office areas.

Ovid Technologies also incorporated 2,200 square feet of Low Profile Flooring into their office space. Service Center Outlets, each with three separate circuits, bring all electrical and data communications from the Control Plenum to the many individual workstations. These Service Center Outlets and related Panels can be quickly installed or moved by in-house personnel as needed.
