Power Distribution
BASIC PDU
nVent's basic PDU offers a cost-effective option to users who do not require intelligence. Premium hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers operate reliably in high-temperature environments. The basic PDU offers advanced features, such as color-coded locking IEC outlets, standard low-profile design, and toolless mounting backed by a 5-year hassle-free warranty.
INPUT METERED PDU
nVent's input metered intelligent PDU includes energy metering with advanced power and environmental monitoring options. Metering at the phase input and internal circuit breaker levels allows comprehensive overload monitoring and advanced alerts, while billing-grade watt-hour metering provides accurate power consumption data for energy use optimization and change management. Advanced network management features allow for a variety of remote access methods and integration with accessories including environmental monitoring and security access solutions.
INPUT METERED, OUTLET SWITCHED PDUS
nVent's input metered, outlet switched intelligent PDU combines energy metering, power and environmental monitoring with remote outlet on/off switching to monitor, protect, and manage the rack environment. Utility grade metering at the phase input and internal circuit breaker levels provides comprehensive overload monitoring. Outlet power-up sequencing protects against inrush current overload and allows users to define equipment boot-up order and timing. While remote on/off control allows authorized users to power-cycle remote equipment and implement rack-level power access controls to power on/off each outlet. Advanced network management features allow for a variety of remote access methods and integration with accessories including environmental monitoring and security access solutions.
OUTLET METERED PDUS
nVent's outlet metered intelligent PDU combines comprehensive energy metering, power monitoring at the phase, circuit breaker, and outlet level with environmental and access monitoring. Billing grade watt-hour metering at both the input phase and outlet level provides accurate energy metering data for user billing purposes, PUE level 3 & efficiency metrics, and capacity management. Advanced network management features allow for a variety of remote access methods and integration with accessories including environmental monitoring and security access solutions.

nVent’s inline energy meter can be added to existing PDUs or stand-alone equipment to quickly and easily upgrade data center equipment. The inline energy meters provide real-time metering and network monitoring of power loads for overload avoidance, capacity & load balancing, and energy use optimization, with the following features. With billing-grade power and energy metering and can connect up to 6 external sensors for complete threat detect on and advanced alarm warnings. Inline energy meters eliminate the need for costly, time consuming changes in a data center environment.
